Corrosion-free cable & structure management company

Composites that outlast steel.

Spectron Composites manufactures FRP pultrusion products and components — cable trays, structural profiles, gratings, ladders and railings — engineered for corrosive, wet and electrically live environments where metal fails.

01 — Why composites

Built for the places
metal corrodes

Continuous glass fibre pulled through a resin bath and a heated die produces a profile with a uniform cross-section, high strength-to-weight ratio and complete electrical isolation — one material solving corrosion, weight and safety at once.

About the company

Corrosion resistant

Unaffected by acids, alkalis, chlorides, effluent and salt spray — no painting, galvanising or cathodic protection.

100% non-conductive

No earthing required, no stray current, no arc-flash risk — the default choice for substations, switchyards and cable routing.

A quarter of the weight

Roughly 25% the weight of steel at comparable stiffness — faster erection, lighter supports, two-man handling.

Made to your drawing

Custom dies, cut lengths, hole patterns and colours — profiles produced to project specification, not catalogue limits.

03 — The line

From glass roving to finished profile

  1. Step 01

    Roving & resin

E-glass roving, mat and veil creeled and metered with isophthalic or VE resin.

  2. Step 02

    Wet-out

Fibre saturated in the resin bath and pre-formed to the section profile.

  3. Step 03

    Heated die

Cured under controlled temperature zones for uniform cross-section and finish.

  4. Step 04

    Pull & cut

Continuous pull with flying cut-off to project lengths and tolerances.

  5. Step 05

    Inspect & dispatch

Dimensional and load checks, batch marking, then packed for site delivery.

04 — Inside the plant

Watch a profile come off the line

Our Por GIDC facility runs pultrusion, cutting, drilling and assembly under one roof — so a tray run, its bends and its covers all ship from the same batch.

Before you enquire

Pultrusion pulls continuous glass fibre through a resin bath and a heated die, producing a profile with a uniform cross-section. The result is corrosion-free, completely non-conductive and roughly a quarter the weight of steel at comparable stiffness — so it needs no painting, galvanising or earthing.
